Neat wall idea

A couple hundred bucks later and the car is fully functional again, so that was nice.

I don't have much to say, the news is all depressing, every time I look at it horrible people are doing horrible things. By which I mean the GOP and their babyish leader, it is incredibly demoralizing.

One interesting thing, among the proposals submitted for a border wall project is this proposal for a border spanning high speed train in a tube, while I am automatically a fan of any futuristic transportation system, which interests me is the idea of turning a stretch of the border into a semi-independent self governing co-nation, a true blend of Mexico and the United States. I feel like that might be a pretty cool way to have a "wall" while still providing the isolationists a sense of security and doing something that would make an impact on immigrant's lives.

Done right of course, done wrong it becomes basically a concentration camp, or reservation. But with the resources and governmental freedom it could be a really cool idea, in fact one that might be applicable to a lot of people, like refugees. Take people from other countries and give them a place to live that is safe and they can immediately begin making an impact in both survival and leadership.

It'll never happen of course, but I like the idea.
