watching stuff

The Seahawks basically crapped themselves and died today, ending their playoff run at about the same point as last year, they need a better offensive line and their pass defense needs work, Legion of Boom my butt.

That's basically the only thing I have been thinking much about tonight, what can I say I like football, even though I shouldn't.

Oh, I watched "In Order of Disappearance" tonight, in which a revenge obsessed Stellen Skarsgard basically turns into an unstoppable slasher movie villain on a bunch of Norwegian coke dealers, it's good entertainment and I highly recommend it.

Speaking of entertainment, I watched the first season of "The Magicians" earlier this week, based on the novels by Lev Grossman, while the novels are not something I would recommend due to the authors unwillingness to even attempt to write a likable character, those responsible for the TV adaptation obviously had to put some work into it, the characters are still kinda shitty people, but it's believable in the context and, more telling, at least some of them are aware of it and trying to become better people, which is welcome.
There is of course magic and shit as well, which is totally my bag, as well as a lot of time making fun of Narnia, I'd say parodying, but honestly it isn't that sophisticated about it. That said there is an interesting story and genuinely unsettling villains so it's worth a look, if you do watch, fair warning there is a pretty unpleasant rape scene in the second to last episode.

SyFy channel has actually been putting effort into their shows lately and I think that has been a good move, making stuff people might actually enjoy watching and all.

There we go, a few words about TV, some days we aren't very creative.
