The Mexican government had some interesting stuff happen today, with the fella who arranged Trump's visit resigning in shame and all.

Now a bill is in their senate that I totally want to see enacted, if it passes, it says that if the USA cancels NAFTA, Mexico will retaliate similarly with regards to other agreements, including, but not limited to the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which ended the Mexican-American war and is basically responsible for us having the entire American southwest.

Now I am not a big fan of a renewed Mexican-American war, but I do sort of want Trump to win anyway now on the off chance that this does happen and Mexico somehow ends up withe Texas once again, not only will justice have been done, but a large chunk of the worst states in the Union would no longer be our problem, that might almost be worth 4-8 years of darkness.

Almost, I kid obviously but this may be the first compelling argument for accelerationism I have seen yet.
