I had a rough day, I grabbed a burger from Carl's Jr. on my way home last night and that turned out to be a terrible mistake as I spent the night wide awake with persistent indigestion. I'll spare you the details, suffice it to say not being able to find the toilet plunger became a real problem.
The point is I didn't sleep last night, I did manage to nap during the day but that isn't the same at all.
So anyway I get home and I guess #covfefe is a thing now? It seems our president fucked up while Tweeting and posted "despite the negative covfefe" or something to that effect. So he probably meant coverage, but why did that happen? Why not edit it or delete it? And even if he spelled it correctly it wouldn't have been a complete sentence, did he have a stroke?(please say yes) did someone tackle him mid-Tweet and take his phone away before he said something like "my friends in the Russian mob will destroy my enemies?"(also a good option). So many questions, there will likely be no answers.
In other news the fascists are going to be having some form of rally here in Portland in a few days, after the events of the weekend there is some pressure to revoke their permit which is taking criticism from both the right and left, note that at this point to me "the right" is synonymous with "fascist sympathizers". Anyway, the usual calls for free speech and what have you are happening and I guess if we are being fair they do have a point.
But why are we being fair again? Why were they even granted a permit in the first place? This isn't a religious event, this isn't a march for or against abortion rights, this is literally an ideology that attempted to take over the world directly causing the deaths of tens of millions of people and shaping the world into the military-industrial clusterfuck it is today. We don't owe them anything, that ideology has no place being legitimized even slightly.
Fuck it, counter protests are also planned apparently, I hope they get their asses kicked.
Gonna try to catch up on my sleep, night all.
