Donald Trump continues to melt down over his Trump University lawsuit an the judge involved, who has thus far remained silent publicly, it is pretty amazing, Trump has said now that he would have similar objections to both Muslims and women, and has ordered his campaign surrogates to attack the judge and never show any indication of regret or apology.
I am starting to grow a bit more optimistic about an establishment revolt at the convention, a complete screwjob is not out of the question here, or even really against the rules, since those can be changed.
On the other side of the aisle, Hillary Clinton is the presumptive nominee, except not really, see the AP did a poll of Superdelegates who haven't publicly announced their choice yet, and Clinton got enough of those to secure the nom no matter what happens tomorrow, the problem is we already knew how the delegates where voting, or at least we could guess anyhow, in reality nothing has changed, Sanders always knew he would have to convince Superdelegates to switch sides and had a steep hill to climb, the hill is still stop, probably impossibly so, but his plan is to try, and for him to have the tools to do so he needs a strong showing tomorrow, particularly in California, if he can show the will of the people supports him, he may get some defectors from the Clinton camp. Like I said, it is a long shot, but nothing has changed.
So why did this survey happen today and why is it big news? Well personally I believe it is a subtle way to suppress turnout tomorrow, my guess is someone in the Democratic establishment is getting a little bit uncomfortable and insecure, they fear a really god performance by Sanders just as I hope for it and are taking steps to demoralize his base before they hit the polls, I mean why vote for a lost cause right?
Sanders has to see this too, as he has stated he will not be giving up just yet, and will wait for all the votes to be counted before he gives in, which is the right play to make I think.
Tune in tomorrow for me to totally change my tune election results.
