Such as it is, an what there is of it anyway.
This blog thing seems to have fallen into a combination journal and soapbox, when I don't have anything I feel like putting effort into ranting about, I tend to just write about whatever happened that day, with any luck that won't happen soon as I just got Fallout 4 and all my days will stay pretty much the same until I run out of interest in it.
But for other stuff, I feel self conscious about sharing my opinions on big events unless I feel like I have something somewhat unique to say, or at least a somewhat unique way to say it. I don't want to write about, say, a women's issue just because I want people to know I have the Right Opinions, I want to write about stuff that I actually feel like I have something to contribute on.
Some stuff is pretty obvious, like the "controversy" over Starbucks red holiday cup, as near as I can tell, the controversy was artificially generated by the media because of backlash against a small group of evangelical types who got upset about it, Donald Trump chimed in and we were off to the races.
But there isn't much to discuss there, I mean, very few people really care what color the cup is, and I have nothing to add to this.
I could talk about how so called controversies get blown out of proportion by social media, and I probably will, but I can use pretty much any event to talk about that.
So I guess I make judgements about what I think are nothing stories, and what are worth more effort to talk about, I admit I can probably be wrong sometimes, and once in a while if there are multiple such stories that I feel like commenting on I'll do a post of multiple topics, but I usually forget about half of them when I start writing, I am at the mercy of my poor short term memory there.
And sometimes, topics get old, politicians say horrible things daily for example, and commenting on every single thing gets old fast, likewise there are only so many ways I can call gun owners stupid, or shout about racism and sexism, so I limit myself on those topics.
Anyhow, that's me today, something more interesting tomorrow.
