The Blazers won today, it was quite thrilling, including a come from behind victory in overtime, the regular season starts on the 28th here, sorta looking forward to it.
The Seahawks lost, they shit the bed in the fourth quarter again, I have little expectation of good performance this year at this point, I don't blame the players so much as I blame the coaching.
Some dude shot himself in the leg while in a movie theater today, he was carrying concealed, legally, but apparently hadn't managed to learn that you don't fiddle with your gun while you carry it around. Among the many stupid things our culture teaches us about firearms is the idea that a gun is there to be used, which encourages people to play with the damn things, this guy was probably fiddling with it in it's holster, or, god help us, his pocket.
We are still understaffed at work, I am pooped and my feet hurt, so I am going to bed now, possibly I'll have more to talk about tomorrow.
