I've kept up with Blindspot, and I have decided I sorta like it, the amnesia plot is really quite uninspired though, it made me want to see an amnesia story where the victim is totally fine with not knowing who they were and focuses instead on building a new life, they make friends, get a job, have adventures that involve relearning common things, bonus points if shady figures from their past keep trying to drag the victim into some ongoing meta-plot, but our protagonist vigorously opposes this, to the point of ignoring hints, refusing to follow up pieces of evidence left on their doorstep in the middle of the night, and so on.
It would probably have to be a comedy, an you know how I feel about comedies, but I think the world would be better for its presence.
In a related genre, I want to watch an anime series with the protagonist spending every episode avoiding a stereotypical plot line: The girl ignores the artifact that could turn her into a magical superhero and sells the talking cat to a circus, the boy who dodges the harem plot by being very clear about his feelings to everyone involved, and then gets restraining orders against anyone who keeps pushing, etc.
I know this sort of stuff isn't really sustainable, but short series like this would amuse me for a time.
