Michael Flynn has offered to testify to the Justice Department regarding the contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign, he wants an immunity deal before he does so though.
That is amazing.
First, he wouldn't be offering to testify and demanding immunity if there wasn't something to demand immunity from, second, there is only one reason for the Department to offer a deal: If they felt his testimony would lead to someone bigger than him. In the organization that is a very short list, my feeling is it includes Trump, Pence, possibly Ivanka or Kushner I guess but I think that Justice would only really be interested in the administration.
As of now no deal has been offered, possibly they are thinking about it or negotiating, but there are two options if they don't offer a deal, the first being that they don't think he actually knows anything that can help, the second being that they already know everything and don't need him, I favor the latter but I guess we'll see what we see.
In other news the Tasmanian Tiger might not be extinct after all, I find that to be very exciting too.
